BLACKPINK took over this week’s NEW K.ID Chart. The world-famous K-Pop group recently reached a milestone as the music video of ‘Ice Cream’ surpassed 500 million views on YouTube. This is BLACKPINK’s 10th music video with more than 500 million views and makes it a record among K-Pop girl groups. ‘Ice Cream’ which had a collaboration with a global superstar, Selena Gomez, got both positive critical acclaims and love from the fans since its release. BLACKPINK who recently finished ‘THE SHOW’ in success will now focus on solo projects with ROSÉ previewing ‘GONE’ during the virtual concert.

At #10 is N.Flying. N.Flying’s leader, LEE SEUNG HYUB is making his first solo debut with a single album, ‘ON THE TRACK’. LEE SEUNG HYUB teased his album on his social media on the 14th. The title track of the upcoming album is ‘Clicker’ and will combine 80s funky sounds with 90s groovy hip hop music. ‘ON THE TRACK’ is currently available for pre-purchase and will be released on 22nd at 6 PM KST.
The special idol of this month is TRI.BE. TRI.BE is the latest female K-pop group under the production of Shinsadong Tiger who also helped debut another famous girl group, EXID. TRI.BE is making their debut on the 17th with a single titled, ‘TRI.BE Da Loca’. ‘TRI.BE Da Loca’ is a combined word between ‘La Vida Loca’ and ‘TRI.BE’, conveying a strong message that TRI.BE is here to change the K-Pop industry.
