Chanel’s 2026 Métiers d’Art Show was held on May 26th at the Centre Pompidou Hanwha in Seoul.
The show’s opening was led by fashion model Shin Hyun Ji, while the finale was closed by a heavily pregnant Choi Sora.
Among the attendees were Chanel ambassadors and high-profile guests, including Kim Go Eun, Go Youn Jung, Jennie, Tilda Swinton, Taiwanese actress Gwei Lun-mei and Park Seo Joon.

Other celebrities in attendance included Lee Jung Jae, Martin and Keonho of CORTIS, Hong Kyung, singer Chanmina, LE SSERAFIM’s Kazuha and Kim Min Ha. Kim Min Ha also drew attention with her noticeably slimmer appearance compared to previous public events.

This collection, first unveiled in New York last December, marks the first Métiers d’Art line presented by Matthieu Blazy since taking on the role of Chanel’s Artistic Director of Fashion.
The Métiers d’Art collection highlights the craftsmanship of Chanel’s specialized ateliers, showcasing intricate work in embroidery, feathers, millinery, jewelry and footwear. The pieces reflect the brand’s ongoing dialogue between traditional couture at 31 Rue Cambon in Paris and modern design.
The venue, Centre Pompidou Hanwha, is scheduled to officially open on June 4th. Developed in collaboration with the Centre Pompidou, the space is located in the former aquarium annex of the 63 Building in Yeouido and spans two exhibition halls across four floors.
The Seoul presentation offered an opportunity to reintroduce Chanel’s atelier craftsmanship to an Asian audience while showcasing how Matthieu Blazy’s debut Métiers d’Art vision is interpreted in the city.
