Baek Jin Hee is getting married after finding love during a stay in Canada.
The actress will tie the knot with her non-celebrity boyfriend on January 23rd at a hotel in Seoul, her agency Management AM9 confirmed on September 7th. The private ceremony will be attended by the couple’s families.
Her fiancé works and lives in Canada. The two reportedly met last year while Baek was in the country for studies and continued their relationship long-distance, traveling between Korea and Canada.
After their wedding, the couple plans to split their time between the two countries, while Baek will continue her acting career.
Baek made her acting debut in the film Missing Person and rose to wider recognition through the MBC sitcom High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged.
She went on to star in dramas including Empress Ki, Pride and Prejudice, My Daughter, Geum Sa Wol, Jugglers and The Real Has Come!.
Earlier this year, Baek returned to television with the MBC drama The Judge Returns. She has also recently launched her personal YouTube channel, “Jinyi Is Back.”
