Up-and-rising boy group ASC2NT has announced their autumn return with the release of their 2nd mini album “Still With You,” a finale to the collective story inspired by the changes of life. Releasing on September 4th, the five-member boy group has teased fans with alluring visuals that encapsulate a newfound maturity.
Members KARAM, JAY, REON, KYLE and HYOWON have announced this new album as the closure to their Four Seasons story. After showcasing their cutting-edge choreography for “STILL ROSE,” a modern house beat track paired with an addictive up-tempo, Still With You and tracks like “If I Die Tomorrow” endearingly represent the members’ earnest desire to stay by your side through the changing world and the changing seasons.
Like the natural gifts that emerge in each season, the album stories collectively represent a passage of time that showcases the group’s growing musicality and unshakable identity. Despite the changes, they remain themselves and are dedicated to staying with their listeners.
Now, the final story possesses more chic and bolder visuals as the members released teasers and stunning photos that emphasized their conceptual ideals. Q. Tell us about your return with your new second mini album, ‘Still With You’, and the upcoming songs– what is this new album all about?
KARAM: This album is our deepest confession to those who stood with us through the cold winter and until our full bloom. Still With You concludes the long journey of the Four Seasons series with the perfect season called “You.” It carries a firm promise and gratitude to always stay by our fans’ side and walk with them, no matter the storm or the changing seasons.
Q. Your albums and songs have been created around the theme of the four seasons. Which season do you think best represents ASC2NT, and why?
JAY: We believe that “Spring” is the season that best expresses the essence, which we showed in our last album STILL: I. At that time, the album was a record that proved the members of ASC2NT’s firm identity. We are still existing as “ourselves” even through the passage of time and the changing seasons. Through that concept, the members’ matured appearance and distinctively adult and sultry charm shone through more deeply. Like the season confidently blossoming after the cold season, “Spring” remains a season I remember deeply as the one that showed ASC2NT’s unique color most clearly.
Q. Is there a song from this second mini album that is particularly special to you and that you hope fans will listen to?
KYLE: I’d like to recommend a song called “I’m Thinking ‘bout Tomorrow,” which was my first time writing and composing a song on my own. There are moments in life when tomorrow feels frightening, and life feels overwhelming. To those people, I wanted to convey the feeling that “I’ll think about your tomorrow with you, so I hope you can end today with comfort and a small smile.” I hope you find much comfort in listening to this special song.
Q. Can you share any interesting stories or fun memories from working on this album?
REON: We had a truly different experience while filming this music video! We shot the MV in a volumetric studio with dozens of cameras filming simultaneously, and that part stood out the most. I remember watching the members’ varying emotional performances up close in the studio—it is an absolutely fascinating and fun memory for me.
Q. Tell us about your comeback choreography and fashion. Was there a particular style, color, or overall mood that inspired this comeback compared to the last one? What inspired the creation of this mini album closing the series?
HYOWON: The core of this title track’s performance is the narrative of “sacrifice” and throwing everything away for you in an uncertain world. In a moment of sublime sacrifice, the intense gestures in the choreography go beyond mere boldness and deliver an immersive power of desperation to protect yourself, even if tomorrow is your last.
KYLE: Rather than having a specific artist we drew inspiration from, we got a lot of ideas from the title track’s story of protecting one another in a crisis. Even in this harsh world, we’ve stylishly captured the spirit of sacrificing for one another until the very end through the costumes and unique visuals. I hope fans will watch these elements closely!
Q. Are there any K-dramas you’ve been watching or are interested in lately?
KARAM: I recently watched a drama called Agent Kim Reactivated, and wow, it was way more interesting than I had expected. The story unfolds so nonstop that I lost track of time while watching it. If anyone is looking for a drama to binge-watch these days, I seriously recommend Agent Kim Reactivated.
After all the fun, the boys of ASC2NT couldn’t forget to thank their loyal fans and shared a personal message for their fandom EPPY before signing off.
