BTS’ Jungkook is speaking out after a technical issue disrupted the group’s recent U.S. concert.

The septet kicked off their “BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN TAMPA” at Raymond James Stadium in Florida on April 25th, marking their first U.S. concerts in nearly four years since “Permission to Dance On Stage” in Las Vegas.

But opening night didn’t go entirely as planned.

During the performance of “Magic Shop,” a sound issue caused noticeable distortion — particularly during Jungkook’s part, where the audio was so heavily tuned it didn’t sound like his voice, sparking immediate reactions from fans.

Jungkook addressed the issue onstage by re-singing “Magic Shop” a cappella after the set, drawing cheers from the crowd.

He later took to Instagram to acknowledge the problem directly. “The ‘Magic Shop’ audio issue is real. Don’t worry. It’ll be fixed from today,” he wrote.

He also apologized to fans who attended the show, adding, “To ARMY who came yesterday, I’m sorry… I’m mad too,” making it clear how seriously he took the mishap.

The Tampa shows mark the start of BTS’ North American tour, which will span 12 cities and 31 performances, including stops in Mexico City, Las Vegas and Chicago. All shows have already sold out.

The group is set to continue the tour May 2nd and 3rd at Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso — becoming the first Korean act to hold a solo concert at the venue.
