The controversy surrounding actor Hong Min Gi escalated after his former girlfriend made additional allegations involving a pregnancy and abortion, before later deleting the posts.

The woman, identified only as “A,” took to social media on August 19th to dispute claims from Hong’s side that she had repeatedly contacted and approached him against his wishes.

“It is not true that I went to his home to stalk him or demanded that he get back together with me,” she wrote. “I only asked for a basic apology. I don’t think it is right to further victimize someone by portraying them this way.”

A alleged that she discovered she was pregnant last month and informed Hong before undergoing an abortion alone.

She claimed Hong told her, “You’re going to get an abortion, right? Get it done tomorrow,” adding that she still has medical records and ultrasound images from the pregnancy.

According to A, Hong continued asking to break up after the procedure and told her, “I can’t embrace you,” which she characterized as an attempt to avoid responsibility.

She said she asked him to remain by her side at least until she had physically recovered, but claimed he cut off contact. A said this was why she later went to his home.

She also alleged that she paid the full cost of the procedure herself and said she now intends to pursue legal action rather than seek a settlement.

Hong’s agency, Fable Company, previously disputed several of A’s claims. The company said the pair began dating around April but their relationship deteriorated over trust issues. According to the agency, Hong repeatedly made clear that he did not want to continue the relationship, but A continued contacting him and visiting both his home and his family’s residence.

A had also previously accused Hong of making disparaging remarks about women, fans and fellow actors, as well as verbal abuse, gaslighting and mistreatment of his dog. The agency said several of those allegations were inconsistent with the facts.

A later deleted all of her posts containing the latest allegations.

Hong was also reportedly absent from the August 19th wrap party for TVING’s Study Group 2. He reprises his Season 1 role as Park Geon Yeop, a first-year student at Yusung Technical High School, and has already completed filming for the new season.
