When the interviewer brought up Bad Bunny’s recent headlining set at Super Bowl LX and asked why BTS wasn’t there yet, the members stayed humble. They noted that the halftime show is a “dream stage” and that they are simply waiting for the right invitation.
However, the conversation took a personal turn when the interviewer noticed Jungkook’s reaction. “Your expression changed when we talked about the Super Bowl,” they noted. Jungkook admitted, “I want to do it, but we can only go if we’re invited.”
RM then dropped a major bombshell: Jungkook was actually invited to the Super Bowl stage by Usher in 2024. While rumors had circulated that Jungkook was nearly the first K-pop artist to perform at the event, RM confirmed that the timing simply didn’t work out because of Jungkook’s mandatory military enlistment.
