Netflix has greenlit the new Korean teen romance series No Crushing Allowed, starring Moon Sang Min, Shin Sia, Lee Min Jae and Choi Hee Jin.

The series is set at two elite high schools separated by a single wall, where dating is strictly forbidden and students caught in relationships face expulsion. Against that backdrop, four 19-year-olds navigate rivalry, friendship and first love.

Moon will play Lee Chi Won, the student council president of Jinwol Boys’ High School and a model student known for excelling academically and athletically. His credits include Netflix’s Pavane, To My Beloved Thief and Under the Queen’s Umbrella.

Shin stars opposite him as So Ran, the popular student council president of neighboring Jinwol Girls’ High School. Competitive and driven, she has known Chi Won since childhood and sees him as her longtime rival — though their feelings for each other may be more complicated than either wants to admit.

Shin previously appeared in Resident Playbook and The Witch: Part 2. The Other One.

Lee Min Jae will play Gong Soo Ho, Chi Won’s rival at Jinwol Boys’ High School, who approaches So Ran for reasons that are initially unclear. Lee’s recent credits include Netflix’s Weak Hero Class 2 and Crash Course in Romance.

Choi Hee Jin joins as Kim Ri Ji, a lively transfer student at Jinwol Girls’ High School who becomes So Ran’s roommate. Her credits include Heavenly Ever After and I Dol I.

The series will be directed by Lee Soo Hyun, whose credits include Filing for Love, My Dearest Nemesis and Sh**ting Stars. Lee Na Eun, writer of Netflix’s Melo Movie and Our Beloved Summer, will write the script.

No Crushing Allowed will stream exclusively on Netflix.
