Tzuyu of the girl group TWICE is joining a collaboration project between Formula 1 team Williams and the Japanese animation DAN DA DAN. This marks an unusual collaboration that blends K-pop with F1 and animation.
According to Williams F1 on September 29th, Tzuyu will sing the official theme song for the “Atlassian Williams F1 Team x Dandadan” project.
The song is an original track newly created for this collaboration, and a music video will also be produced. The song is scheduled to be released in early 2027, ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix, with the title and specific release date to be announced later.
The collaboration between Williams and DAN DA DAN began at this year’s Japanese Grand Prix. Under the theme “Speed Meets Supernatural,” the project combines the racing image of the Williams F1 team with the world of DAN DA DAN.

The scope of the collaboration has now expanded to include music, with Tzuyu’s participation. A special livery car and collaboration merchandise were also unveiled at Anime Expo in Los Angeles in July.
Tzuyu expressed her delight in participating in a project where diverse fields like F1, animation and music converge, and conveyed her anticipation for the theme song and music video.
Williams also anticipates that this collaboration with Tzuyu will help them connect with new global fans, in addition to their existing motorsport enthusiasts.
Tzuyu is also scheduled to attend the F1 Singapore Grand Prix, held from October 9th to 11th at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, to promote this collaboration with Williams. The Williams fan zone will also feature related events and merchandise.
F1 has been increasingly collaborating with various cultural content, including fashion, music, games, and animation. This project is also drawing attention as an example that broadens the boundaries between motorsports and popular culture.
