With Good Day pulled from this week’s broadcast lineup, G-Dragon has fans speculating after posting a cryptic photo to social media.
On March 20th, G-Dragon shared a screenshot to his private Instagram account with the caption: “Get it together in this harsh world.” The image was taken from a 2012 Infinite Challenge episode featuring cast member Haha.
The timing of the post raised eyebrows, as it came just as MBC announced the cancellation of the March 23rd episode of Good Day, a new variety series that marks G-Dragon’s grand return to TV. The show, which follows G-Dragon collaborating with notable figures to produce a song representing the year, has been under fire due to recent controversy surrounding cast member Kim Soo Hyun.
Kim Soo Hyun has come under public scrutiny following allegations of his past relationship with the late actress Kim Sae Ron, which led to intense viewer backlash. While the production team initially chose to minimize his appearance through editing, the significant amount of pre-recorded footage made it difficult to remove him entirely.
As public criticism persisted, MBC ultimately decided to pull the sixth episode altogether. The timeslot will be filled with a special episode of I Live Alone.
