If you need some strength and want to re-energize your playlist, K-Pop boy group BLITZERS and their new comeback song and mini-album will be just the thing to give you some power – “SUPERPOWER” that is!

Wuzo Entertainment’s sensational group had a successful comeback last month with their song “SUPERPOWER” from their new album ‘LUNCH-BOX’ – an album jam-packed with upbeat tracks guaranteed to have you bouncing off the walls and falling in love with your K-Pop playlist again. With six tracks, including an English version of their hit “Macarena” and a new title track, the album includes new songs “Race Up,” “RING RING” composed by member Juhan and “FXXIN Spring.” What fun titles, right? ZAPZEE interviewed BLITZERS in the past, and this time around the six members Jinhwa, Juhan, Sya, Chris, Lutan and Wooju came to greet their fans once more in our exclusive video below! Check out what the boys had to say to BLEE!

Wasn’t it fun to see BLITZERS charming faces? If you enjoyed the video, don’t hesitate and check out the exclusive interview below! The boys revealed what they loved most about their new quirky album ‘LUNCH-BOX’ and all the details about their adventures in the UK while filming “SUPER POWER.”

Q1. Blitzers made a supreme comeback with “SUPERPOWER” lately. Tell us about the song’s concept and title.

LUTAN: “The title song ‘SUPERPOWER’ is about the idea that everyone has a superpower that can bring about a bit of happiness in their tiring and busy daily lives.”

JUHAN: “That’s why it’s a song about the desire to find your own superpower and driving force that people may have forgotten in their daily lives.”

Q2. The choreography seems to be a crucial point of expressing “SUPERPOWER” – how was it learning and making the dance moves? Is there a part you enjoy dancing the most or was the choreo too difficult?

SYA: “First, from the beginning to the end, the process of making it was easier than I thought and the physicality of the choreography was difficult because the choreography was altogether active. Aside from the other most difficult parts, I think the second verse hook part that I personally came up with is a little more difficult physically.”

CHRIS: “First, we tried adding various moves for the song and added a bouncy choreography to the hook part as a key point to match the song’s vibe! Maybe that’s why I like the ‘Power, Power’ chorus part the best!”

Q3. How did it feel to shoot the MV for “SUPERPOWER” in the UK? What was it like being in the country?

JINHWA: “First of all, the background of England is so pretty that the music video came out really nicely! I want to go to England again later.”

WOOJU: ”I think I went to many places in the U.K. We saw a lot and experienced a lot of things, I was so happy being there!”

Q4. What was your favorite moment or experience in the UK? Any funny stories with the members, interesting food, or events while filming the MV?

JINHWA: “I’m upset because I couldn’t enjoy the UK properly because I was so tired that I only remember when I was lying down in our accommodations.”

JUHAN: “I didn’t know what to order from ‘Five Guys’ while in England, so I ordered about 10 portions of fries, but I thought my stomach could almost burst from overeating.”

SYA: “I went for a walk in Kensington Park and that was the most memorable thing for me! The park was pretty and it was so relaxing. I really like to relax, so it was all the more memorable.”

CHRIS: “I remember the scene where I was with a cat when shooting the music video. This was my first time shooting with a cat so it took time for us to become friendly and get acquainted with each other while on set!”

LUTAN: “This scene didn’t appear in the music video, but playing with water guns with the members was the most fun and memorable. As for the food, I often went to a store called Wagamama and I really enjoyed the ramen there.”

WOOJU: “It was nice to see the surroundings of England when eating out! I ate bread in between takes when shooting the music video, and it was so delicious that it was memorable for me.”

Q5. If BLITZERS could film in another country, where would you want to go next?

JINHWA: “I want to go to a country where the sea is beautiful and take pictures.”

JUHAN: “I want to go back to Paris, specifically the place where we filmed the music video for ‘Gradation’! It was really nice there.”

SYA: “I want to go to Europe again next time. I want to go on a tour again because I loved the memories from the European tour.”

CHRIS: “I want to go to the UK one more time and say hello to more BLEEs and capture the various pretty landscapes on my own camera!”

LUTAN: “I’ve been wanting to go to Spain for a long time, but I think it would be nice to film or visit a pretty place in any country.”

WOOJU: “I can’t think of any place right now, but I want to go to various places and capture the charm of that country while filming!”

Q6. If the boys could have their own superpowers, what would it be and why?

JINHWA: “It’s teleportation! So I can meet BLEE as much as I want!”

JUHAN: “I want to learn how to make clones. Then they can do all my work while I go play!”

SYA: “I think my power would be teleportation because I sleep a lot and teleportation can help me sleep longer.”

CHRIS: “I want to have the ability to stop time! This is because if you stop time, you can use and have more time than others!”

LUTAN: “Me too, a time-stop ability. I want to stop because time flies by so fast these days.”

WOOJU: “Same. I think I can do everything I want to do if I can stop time.”

Q7. Blitzers enjoy utilizing jazzy beats and funky rhythms similar to “Macarena” – is this becoming the group’s signature sound or is there another style the group will explore in the future?

SYA: “I think those styles fit as well! We haven’t decided what kind of music we’re going to do in the future, but we want to continue to challenge ourselves in a way that can show BLITZERS style well.”

CHRIS: “I think BLITZERS will show fans other styles in the future, but I also think ‘Macarena’ was the starting point of our group’s signature sound!”

Q8. Tell us about EP4 ‘LUNCH BOX’ – how did the group make this fun and cute title? What is the Mini-Abum concept as a whole?

JUHAN: “The concept of the album was based on in-flight meals from airplanes, and BLITZERS wanted to remind fans that the message of the album is ‘happiness exists in small things and in everyone.”

It seems even the most minuscule and oddly unique of things were considered on the list of things that make the members of BLITZERS feel happy in their daily lives!

LUTAN: “Our EP album is about traveling from our debut album, ‘CHECK-IN,’ to ‘SEAT-BELT,’ ‘WIN-DOW,’ to ‘LUNCH-BOX!’ We wanted to express the small happiness we get from lunch boxes and in-flight meals that we eat while we’re looking out the window with our seatbelts on after check-in during our many schedules.”

Q9. Will the album look like a lunch box or are the boys planning to do some fun lunchbox events with their fans?

JINHWA: “The album does in fact look like a boxed meal! We were enjoying this album with BLEE by giving BLEE a boxed meal jelly on the day of its release at our showcase.”

WOOJU: “It looks like a cute lunch box! We also drew the food on the front cover ourselves!”

Q10. What is a song from ‘LUNCH-BOX’ that all fans must hear?

JINHWA: “If you’re a fan of ours, I think you should listen to the title ‘SUPERPOWER.’”

JUHAN: “Please listen to ‘RING RING,’ the song I wrote the lyrics for myself!”

SYA: “I’d like to say ‘SUPERPOWER.’”

CHRIS: “I pick ‘Race Up!’ because the beat is magnificent!”

LUTAN: “I think it’s the title song, too, ’SUPERPOWER!’”

WOOJU: “All the songs are attractive, so I’d appreciate it if you listened to all of them!”

Q11. What is your favorite kind of 도시락 lunch box? Convenient stores? Japanese style? What sort of food must you have in it?

JINHWA: “Of course, you need white rice for a lunch box! Koreans love rice!”

JUHAN: “Lunch boxes must have fruits. This is because you need something fresh after you finish your meal.”

SYA: “My favorite lunch box is stir-fried spicy pork. I think a lunch box with meat is great.”

CHRIS: “I love a lunch box with chicken in it!”

LUTAN: “I don’t care about what’s inside any lunch box as long as it has meat. I just need meat.”

WOOJU: “My favorite kind of lunch box is from Hanpot Lunchbox, a lunchbox brand in Korea!”

Q12. BLITZERS show such amazing fashion sense and style in all their MVs. The boys even paint their nails and wear crop tops – how does it feel to wear this kind of fashion? Do you ever feel nervous or embarrassed dressing so differently or femininely?

JINHWA: “I don’t think I’ve ever worried about it because I think fashion is a device to express our songs in a cooler and more vivid way.”

JUHAN: “I don’t feel uncomfortable because I talk about the uncomfortable parts during our fitting or I wear the costume after sufficient discussions and final decisions in the end!

SYA: “Actually, I prefer styles that others don’t look for when reviewing trends, but maybe that’s why I really liked the genderless fashion style.”

CHRIS: “If it’s something fresh and new, I think it feels more expressive when I perform!”

LUTAN: “I remember wearing a long wig for the ‘Macarena’ music video and it was itchy and more uncomfortable than I thought, but it was a new experience so it was fun to try.”

WOOJU: “I’m not nervous or embarrassed, but more so I’m satisfied because the stylist always prepared our outfits beautifully.”

Before wrapping things up with ZAPZEE, BLITZERS had one more special message for their loving fans, BLEE. The boys love BLEE and their video message wasn’t enough to show how much they care.

JINHWA: “I always appreciate BLEE for being so nice to BLITZERS. I’ll always do my best as usual for BLEE.”

JUHAN: “BLEES! I hope you can cheer up by listening to “SUPERPOWER” when you’re tired, fatigued, or feeling stressed!”

SYA: “Thank you so much for always supporting us and being the driving force behind BLITZERS. I look forward to your continued support!”

CHRIS: “BLITZERS’ journey will always charge forward and onward! It’s endless! So let’s go all the way together, BLEE!”

LUTAN: “Thank you for always supporting and liking us! We will repay you with better performances and better music from now on. I love you!”

WOOJU: “BLEE! Let’s have fun with this album too! Thank you!”
