Jeon So Young and Kim Jae Won are set to star together in upcoming youth romance film Da Capo.
The two actors recently chose the film as their next project and are preparing to begin production.
Da Capo is a coming-of-age romance about young love and personal growth. It marks the latest film from director Lee Eon Hee, whose credits include Missing, The Accidental Detective 2: In Action and Love in the Big City.
The casting brings together two of this year’s breakout stars. Jeon and Kim both took home Best New Actor honors at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards on July 31st, with Jeon winning Best New Actress for If Wishes Could Kill and Kim winning Best New Actor for Yumi’s Cells Season 3.
Both actors already have packed slates. Jeon has several upcoming film and television projects lined up, while Kim is also set to appear in multiple films and dramas following his breakout turn opposite Kim Go Eun in Yumi’s Cells Season 3.
Da Capo is expected to begin filming in the second half of this year once casting is complete. Showbox will handle investment and distribution.
