Kim Go Eun has been awarded the prestigious Grand Prize at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards. The ceremony was held on July 31st at the Incheon Paradise City Hotel and was broadcast live on KBS 2TV.
Visibly emotional, Kim Go Eun accepted the award and said, “I will consider this a reward for my hard work on You and Everything Else, The Price of Confession, and Yumi’s Cells.” She continued, “At this moment, I’m thinking of all the senior actors I have worked with. I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to work alongside and learn from such great seniors. I hope to become an actor like them someday.”
“I have never taken my work for granted,” she added. “That is why I strive to approach every project with sincerity, urgency and a sense of responsibility. I will continue to work hard so that people remain curious about me and discover new sides of me as an actress. Please continue to support me and give me opportunities.”
The 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards honors dramas and variety shows released on domestic and international streaming platforms between June 1st, 2025, and May 31st, 2026. The preliminary screening recorded the highest-ever participation rate among expert voters. The results were combined with the first round of netizen voting, which took place from June 17th to June 30th through the official Blue Dragon Series Awards website.
