Early premiere tickets for Semantic Error: The Movie quickly sold out upon the initial announcement of its release.

The movie depicts a campus romance between two students – computer science major Chu Sang Woo (played by Jaechan) and visual arts student Jang Jae Young (Park Seo Ham) – who are completely opposite in personality. Anticipations are high for the upcoming Watcha-distributed movie as the new flick will include exclusive footage that was not included in the original series.

Ahead of the film’s official release, the production company announced that they would be treating viewers with special gifts on its premieres at five different CGV theaters between August 5th and the 7th. The tickets for its early premiere quickly sold out when it went on sale on August 1st.

Previously in July, the film was screened at the 26th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, and its tickets were gone in less than a minute. The movie quickly began trending on social media as soon as the news of its theatrical release hit the wire. Expectations are growing for the new film as fans are already forming a viewing party for its upcoming premiere.

Semantic Error: The Movie will be released on August 31st at CGV theaters.
