In a recent promotional interview for Netflix’s The Sound of Magic, Choi Sung Eun shared what it was like working with Ji Chang Wook.
The actress commented, “It felt strange watching the show’s final edit. I felt bittersweet about having to say goodbye to the series after wrapping it up.”
According to FlixPatrol, The Sound of Magic ranked No.4 on Netflix’s top drama rankings across the globe.
The celebrity stated, “It’s very difficult to spot a musical drama in Korea, so I wasn’t sure how domestic and overseas audiences would react. Fortunately, it did really well, and I’m thankful for the drama’s success.”
The female star expressed, “Ji Chang Wook is such a warm human being. That was my first and last impression of him. I am so grateful that he encouraged me in the same way that Rieul would do for Ah Yi. Whenever I wanted to reshoot my scenes, he always encouraged me to push my limits and try hard to achieve what I wanted. It meant a lot for me.”
Regarding Na Il Deung (played by Hwang In Yeop), the female star shared, “He is a very nice and charming person in real life. He looks very young for his age despite us being only four or five years apart. Il Deung could not have become more lovely and charming had it not been for In Yeop, who played such a wonderful character. He is such a nice person, and we had fun filming together.”
