Song Won Seok to Work with Ahn Hyo Seop Once Again in the New Rom-Com ‘The Office Blind Date’

Song Won Seok was cast in the upcoming rom-com The Office Blind Date.

This new romantic comedy series begins when a woman goes on a blind date pretending to be her best friend, only to find out that her date is her CEO. Previously, Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Se Jeong officially joined the project as lead actors. The original web novel was published in 2017, and the webtoon version was released the following year. These two versions have garnered 320 million cumulative views worldwide.

Song Won Seok takes on the role of chef Lee Min Woo. Lee Min Woo is from a decent family, has good looks and a gentlemanly manner, and is the man whom Shin Ha Ri (Kim Se Jeong) had a crush on for the past seven years. He will be portrayed as an attractive character with all the virtues that women dream of.

The actor emerged as a new rising star for his solid performance in two hit dramas, SBS’s Lovers of the Red Sky and SBS’s One the Woman. For Lovers of the Red Sky, Song had turned into a loyal guard Moo Young. But in One the Woman, he showcases an entirely different performance as Han Seong Woon with irresistible charm.

Naturally, attention focuses on what he’ll present as a chef who has it all. Moreover, the fact that Ahn Hyo Seop and Song Won Seok have joined the same project is noteworthy.

Meanwhile, The Office Blind Date will premiere in the first half of next year.
