Kim Nam Gil, Jin Seon Kyu, and Kim So Jin joined Those Who Read Hearts of Evil (literal title).
SBS’s new series, Those Who Read Hearts of Evil, is a crime thriller that tells the story of criminal profilers who struggle to read the minds of serial killers. It’s based on the non-fiction novel by Korea’s first profiler Kwon Il Young.
The series made headlines from early on as Korea’s first-ever series about criminal profilers. And today, Kim Nam Gil, Jin Seon Kyu, and Kim So Jin officially joined the cast.
Kim Nam Gil plays Song Ha Young, a criminal profiler of the Behavioral Analysis Unit in the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. He may seem dry and emotionless, but he shows great talent in understanding the human mind more than anyone else.
Kook Young Soo, played by Jin Seon Kyu, is the team leader of the unit. He had realized the importance of criminal profiling and came up with the plan to set up such a team after a long discussion.
Lastly, Kim So Jin takes on the role of Yoon Tae Goo, the team leader of Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Regional Investigation Unit. Because of her instinct about the cases, she became a legendary figure in her unit.
Meanwhile, SBS’s Those Who Read Hearts of Evil will air later this year.
