NU’EST held a showcase to commemorate the release of their second full album Romanticize on Monday at 4 PM KST. This new smash is the group’s first regular album in seven years.

“It’s our first album in about a year, and it’s the first full album in seven years. So I’m nervous and excited,” shared JR. “We worked hard on this album for a long time, so we will be able to show you a variety of things. Please look forward to it.”

Aron was diagnosed with anxiety disorder in January and was advised to take sufficient rest. However, because he wished to join the promotional event with his members, Aron will participate in the upcoming schedules with flexible working arrangements. “I’ve been taking a rest lately,” he said. “Regarding the promotions, I’ve talked to the company and the members. And they respected my opinion, so I will join them as long as my health allows it.”

Romanticize is defined as making something more attractive. Hence, NU’EST will try new attempts to maximize their characteristics further. Baekho explained, “I hope those who listen to the album will think about romance, healing, and calmness of heart.”

The new title track “Inside Out” is a chill house genre that depicts a man who realizes his true feelings just before the breakup. For instance, the complicated emotions that cannot be explained in one word will be described in the delicate lyrics.

This year, NU’EST celebrated the 10th anniversary of their debut. “Every time we release a new album, I feel fresh and nervous,” shared Baekho. “When we were preparing for this album, I talked with the members to stay healthy. Still, we are thrilled that we can show you performance with all five of us.”

To sum up, Romanticize was released yesterday at 6 PM KST.
