Ji Chang Wook is officially stepping into a new role as an awards show host for the very first time.
The organizing committee for the Asia Artist Awards announced on May 29th that the star will serve as one of the main MCs for the upcoming AAA 2026.
Known for his incredible acting range and his knack for intense action scenes, Ji Chang Wook has built a massive global fanbase. He has consistently dominated streaming charts with hit series like Gangnam B-Side, The Worst of Evil and Welcome to Samdal-ri. Most recently, he won over audiences in film Colony with his powerful emotional performance and sharp action sequences as a building security team member named Choi Hyun Seok.
The massive year-end festival will be held at the Kaohsiung National Stadium. Ji Chang Wook joins IVE’s Jang Wonyoung, who was previously announced as the show’s first host, with more star-studded MC lineup reveals still to come. As the first integrated awards ceremony in South Korea to honor both actors and singers, the event brings together the absolute biggest names in K-pop, K-dramas and K-movies.
The highly anticipated Asia Artist Awards is scheduled to take place over two days, from December 5th to 6th, with the star-studded attendee lineup rolling out sequentially in the coming months.
