According to Nielsen Korea, the grand finale of tvN’s weekend drama Mr. Queen garnered 17.371% nationwide. This is a whopping 3.1% rise from the 14.2% ratings recorded in the previous episode and the drama’s all-time best record.
With this, Mr. Queen ranked 4th in tvN’s all-time highest ratings following Crash Landing On You, Goblin, Reply 1988, and Mr. Sunshine.
In the broadcast on this day, Kim Cheoljong and Kim So Yong’s operation to infiltrate the palace was welcomed with a glowing success as Cheoljong sat on the throne once again. Jang Bong Hwan (Chi Jin Hyuk) returned to the present time and woke up safely and smiled with tears as he read all the triumphant history that Cheoljong achieved. The drama ended with Cheoljong and Kim So Yong embracing their love and solidifying their faith in each other, consummating their own happily ever after story.
Following the applauding upshot that Mr. Queen garnered, Vincenzo will premiere on Feb 20.
