The YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute, run by lawyer Kang Yong Seok and former reporter Kim Se Eui, claimed that the “hidden camera comedian” is Park Dae Seung.

On June 2, Garo Sero Institute posted a photo of Park Dae Seung, the comedian of KBS’s 32nd public recruit, on its YouTube community. Soon after, comedian Park Dae Seung turned his SNS account to private.

Earlier, Chosun Ilbo reported that a comedian who installed a hidden camera in the ladies’ room of the KBS headquarters building was chosen from KBS’s public recruit held in July 2018 and is active in various shows. Then, Garo Sero Institute suddenly mentioned Park Dae Seung, stirring up the controversy.

Park Dae Seung is a 31-year-old comedian who passed the KBS public recruit in 2018. He was appeared in various corners of Gag Concert, including “Fake News,” “Hidden Voice,” “2-Minute Drama,” and “International Kindergarten.”

Meanwhile, police collected illegal filming devices from the scene after receiving a report that a portable hidden camera was found in ladies’ room in KBS Research Center on April 29. It was later reported that the day was when all cast of Gag Concert gathered to rehearse for their final episode.

The suspect voluntarily appeared at the police station in the early morning of June 1 when the investigation took place. An official from KBS said, “We cannot confirm the suspect.”
