Flex X Cop is officially returning for season 2.
Disney Plus announced that the second season of Flex X Cop will premiere on August 7th, releasing a new teaser poster to kick off the show’s next chapter.
After winning viewers over with its flashy, feel-good story of a spoiled third-generation chaebol turned detective, Flex X Cop is coming back with a bigger scale, new cases and even more high-energy character dynamics.
Season 2 reunites director Kim Jae Hong and writer Kim Ba Da from the first season, while bringing back familiar faces and introducing new characters. Among the biggest additions is Jung Eun Chae, who joins the cast as Joo Hye Ra, the new leader of Violent Crimes Team 1.
The teaser poster puts Jin Yi Soo, played by Ahn Bo Hyun, front and center. Sitting comfortably inside a private jet with a case file in hand, he looks every bit the rich-kid detective who solves crimes with money, connections and confidence to spare. The poster’s tagline, “Born Rich, Badge Ready,” captures the character’s signature mix of chaebol privilege and detective instincts.
After using his wealth and network like a cheat code to crack cases in the first season, Yi Soo is expected to bring an even sharper edge to his signature “flex” investigations.
Jung Eun Chae will star as his new partner, veteran detective Joo Hye Ra. Strict, disciplined and by-the-book, Hye Ra has a completely different approach from the freewheeling Yi Soo.
The two also share a complicated history. Back at the police academy, Hye Ra was known as the “devil instructor,” while Yi Soo was the troublemaker trainee who drove her up the wall. Now, the former enemies are forced to work together as investigative partners.
Flex X Cop Season 2 premieres August 7th on Disney+, with new episodes dropping every Friday and Saturday.
