Jung Eun Chae recently shared a glimpse into her personal life with a subtle social media update.
On April 29th, the actress uploaded a photo of two rings to her personal account without a caption. The rings were stacked atop a heart-shaped case, immediately catching her followers’ attention. Fans also pointed out that her boyfriend, Kim Choong Jae, follows the jewelry brand tagged in the post.
Earlier that same day, Jung Eun Chae posted photos of herself in a white t-shirt and jeans with the caption “The weather is the best.” In these photos, she appeared to be touching her left ring finger, prompting many fans to wonder if she had already been proposed to.
Jung Eun Chae has been publicly dating Kim Choong Jae since 2024. Born in 1986, the same year as her, the designer gained popularity through his appearance on the MBC variety show I Live Alone. He previously expressed his affection by publicly supporting Jung Eun Chae on his social media when she made her comeback in the ENA drama Honour.
Jung Eun Chae spoke warmly about Kim Choong Jae in an interview following the conclusion of Honour. “He always watches my projects with great interest,” she said. “He probably watches them more closely than I do. He gives me objective feedback and honest impressions about my work. He is always a great source of strength.” She also addressed his public support, adding, “I am grateful and happy for Kim Choong Jae’s support.” The two frequently leave heart emoticons on each other’s posts, and they seem to enjoy a relationship similar to that of any ordinary couple.
Jung Eun Chae made her professional debut in 2010 with the film Haunters. She has since showcased her versatility in various projects, including The King: Eternal Monarch, Anna and Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born.
She is currently set to join the cast of the SBS drama Flex X Cop 2, scheduled to air in 2026. She will play the role of team leader Joo Hye Ra, joining an investigation team led by Jin Yi Soo, and delivering a refreshing performance to the audience.
