Ji Chang Wook and NCT WISH’s Sion have reportedly teamed up for a new travel variety show in Japan.

According to a report on October 8th, the two recently completed filming for Ojisan and Pretty Boy (literal title), a program following them as they travel through Japan. ‘Ojisan’ is commonly used in Japanese to mean an older man or uncle.

Sightings of Ji and Sion traveling together in Japan had already circulated across social media, sparking curiosity about what the two were filming.

The pairing marks their first project together and has drawn attention in part because of their 15-year age gap and very different career backgrounds. Ji was born in 1987, while Sion was born in 2002.

Ji has previously appeared as a regular cast member on variety shows including Young Actors’ Retreat and My Name Is Gabriel, in addition to guest appearances on programs such as House on Wheels and Whenever Possible.

Sion has also been expanding his variety appearances, recently serving as a special MC on The Return of Superman. He has previously hosted music shows and appeared in YouTube content with baseball player Yang Hyeon Jong.

While filming has reportedly been completed, details including the show’s broadcaster or streaming platform have not yet been officially announced. Production company SLL said it was unable to comment on the program or the pair’s reported participation.
