ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo has secured the top spot in the latest idol brand reputation rankings, according to data analyzed for April 2024, with BLACKPINK’s Jennie and ILLIT’s Wonhee rounding out the top three.
The Korean Business Research Institute, which analyzes brand data across various sectors, released their findings this week. Cha Eun Woo’s brand index stood at 3,891,140, experiencing a 22.82% decrease from his March score of 5,041,728. Despite the drop, Cha remained at the forefront of idol rankings.
Jennie followed in second place with a score of 3,473,456, marking a 14.07% increase from her previous score of 3,045,047. Wonhee landed in third with an index of 3,064,663.
Institute director Koo Chang Hwan commented on the findings: “Cha Eun Woo’s brand performed strongly in link analysis, with high associations to terms like ‘perform,’ ‘perfect,’ and ‘happy.’ In keyword analysis, ‘fancon,’ ‘Just One Ten Minute,’ and ‘Wonderful World’ ranked highly. The positive-to-negative sentiment ratio in the big data analysis showed a positive sentiment score of 89.57%.”
Further down the list, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and EXO’s Baekhyun were also among the top five, indicating strong and enduring brand presences within the industry. Taeyeon’s brand index noted a 19.30% decrease to 2,567,872, while Baekhyun’s stood at 1,891,731.
