Will Lee Young Ae turn into a maestra in the upcoming series?
According to insiders, Maestra (literal title) is based on the French series of the same name. It depicts the struggles and growth of a female conductor, and Lee Young Ae has recently joined the project to play the lead character.
It is said that Lee Young Ae, who was well-received for her transformation in JTBC’s Inspector Koo, wanted to challenge another project where she could show a new side of herself. And her final choice was Maestra which centers around a female conductor, which is rarely dealt with.
In response, the actress’s agency GOOD PEOPLE shared, “Lee Young Ae was offered to star in the drama Maestra and is positively reviewing it.”
Meanwhile, Maestra will finalize its casting soon before starting the filming.
