Netflix film Possible Love has officially set its theatrical and streaming release dates, along with a new poster announcing the rollout.

The film will open in theaters in South Korea on Sept. 23 before launching globally on Netflix on Nov. 6.

Possible Love follows two married couples — a laid-off worker and his wife, and a documentary filmmaker and her husband — whose lives intersect while working on a documentary, bringing their different realities and hidden desires to the surface.

The film has already drawn international attention after being invited to compete at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival and screen in the Special Presentations section of the 51st Toronto International Film Festival.

Following Netflix titles such as Frankenstein, Maestro and The Irishman, Possible Love will also get a theatrical run before arriving on the streaming platform, giving moviegoers the chance to see Lee Chang Dong’s latest film on the big screen first.

The newly released poster shows Mi Ok (Jeon Do Yeon) and Ye Ji (Cho Yeo Jeong), who is holding a camera, standing beneath windswept trees under a moonlit predawn sky. Ye Ji is filming a documentary about laid-off workers, while Mi Ok is the wife of one of them. The two gaze at each other as though seeing one another for the first time, hinting at the tension and complicated relationship to come.

Possible Love marks Lee Chang Dong’s first new film in eight years and brings together Jeon Do Yeon, Sol Kyung Gu, Zo In Sung and Cho Yeo Jeong.

The film opens in Korean theaters Sept. 23 and premieres worldwide on Netflix November 6th.
