‘Taxi Driver’ Comes Under Fire for Awkward Action Sequences
Taxi Driver came under fire for doing a sloppy job with Lee Je Hoon’s action scenes played out by his stunt double. The scene of Kim Do Gi overpowering the gangster in episode 4, which aired on the 17th, became a problem. It was pointed out that Lee’s stunt double had a different build and hairstyle from the actor and that such difference disturbed the viewer to get immersed in the story. These are some of the comments: “The stunt double is the lead actor,” “So in every action scene, Lee Je Hoon disappears?” “That was terrible editing,” and “I was surprised when a totally different person showed up.”
