Made in Korea took home two honors at the 2026 Global OTT Awards, building even more anticipation for its upcoming second season.
At the ceremony, held June 20th at the outdoor theater of the Busan Cinema Center, Made in Korea won Best Director for Woo Min Ho and Best Supporting Actor for Jung Sung Il.
Woo, who brought the series’ cinematic scale and weighty direction to life, shared his gratitude in his acceptance speech.
“’Made in Korea’ is set in 1970s Busan, so it’s a great honor to receive this award at the Global OTT Awards here in Busan,” Woo said. “This was my first time directing a drama, and I made it by trusting our actors — especially Hyun Bin. I truly want to thank him, as well as all of the cast and crew.”

Nana also drew attention with her own acceptance speech after winning Best Supporting Actress for the drama Climax.
“Thank you for giving me such a big award on a day with such beautiful weather, in such a beautiful place,” Nana said. “I think our director will be the happiest about this. It’s all thanks to her that I got this award.”
She added, “I’ll continue working to become an actor who can have a positive influence through good acting and an honest, sincere presence.” Nana, who recently dealt with a break-in at her home, also drew attention as she closed by saying, “Always stay healthy, watch out for thieves and be happy.”
