Netflix horror series Dead-End Job will premiere on October 30th, with the streamer unveiling a new teaser poster and trailer.
The series follows Hyuk Jun (played by Lee Jae Wook), a debt-ridden young man who turns to a mysterious employment agency offering seemingly irresistible part-time jobs paying at least 50 times the usual hourly wage. What looks like easy money quickly turns into a series of increasingly bizarre and dangerous assignments. Netflix describes the show as a horror story about a young man whose pursuit of better pay becomes nightmarish.
Dead-End Job is directed by Kim Da Min, who wrote Netflix’s A Killer Paradox and drew attention with the film FAQ. Han Jun Hee, whose credits include D.P. and Weak Hero, serves as executive producer. The cast also includes Go Min Si, Kim Min Ha and Lee Hee Jun.
The teaser poster shows Hyuk Jun sitting bloodied and exhausted in the middle of a trashed room, accompanied by the question: “50* Minimum wage guaranteed, Will you accept this sweet gig?”

In the trailer, Hyuk Jun visits the rundown employment agency as a last resort while drowning in debt. There, he is offered a job paying 50 times the usual wage. The agency’s boss, played by Lee Hee Jun, baits him: “You won’t find a sweeter gig than this.”
The money, however, comes with a price. Hyuk Jun is attacked by a swarm of moths at a convenience store, encounters a sinister clown and faces a string of increasingly disturbing situations. Each successful job promises even higher pay, drawing him back into more dangerous work.
Dead-End Job premieres October 30th exclusively on Netflix.
