Nana is turning heads with a bold performance in ENA’s Monday-Tuesday drama Climax.

The series follows a web of power and ambition among elite figures in Korea, with Nana playing Hwang Jung Won, a mysterious figure who operates behind the scenes, feeding information to Bang Tae Seop (Ju Ji Hoon).

In episodes 7 and 8, released on April 6th and 7th, Jung Won—now appearing as a rookie actress—crosses paths with Chu Sang Ah (played by Ha Ji Won) on the same project, setting the stage for a more complex dynamic between the two. Their relationship takes a dramatic turn with an intimate scene that heightens the tension and emotional stakes.

The storyline further intensifies when Jung Won confesses she went to the scene of Park Jae Sang’s murder, intending to kill him, only to reveal she’s being framed and manipulated after being caught at the scene by another character.

This isn’t the first time the two characters have shared a charged moment. In an earlier episode, Sang Ah—grieving her colleague and lover—mistakes Jung Won for her and shares a kiss, marking the start of their layered connection.

Ha Ji Won recently spoke about working with Nana, praising her co-star’s presence on set. “She made me feel comfortable, so we were able to film naturally, even for the more emotional scenes,” she said.

The performance has fueled buzz online, with Nana ranking in the Top 3 of drama-related search keywords for the fourth week of March, according to Good Data.

Climax airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 PM KST.
