Ahn Hyo Seop is set to make his first-ever appearance on a news program since his debut, joining JTBC’s Newsroom for an upcoming interview.
DONG-A ILBO reported that the actor will film the interview on October 15th. He is expected to discuss his upcoming JTBC drama Final Table, including his character, how he prepared for the role, and what he has been up to lately.
Ahn is also expected to talk about how his life has changed following the global success of Netflix’s K-pop Demon Hunters, which has brought him even greater international attention.
In Final Table, Ahn plays Kang Han, a talented Korean chef with an exceptional palate and extensive experience working overseas. The drama follows Korean chefs from around the world as they compete in a culinary survival competition, with their personal stories unfolding along the way.
The role marks Ahn’s first time playing a chef since his debut, sparking interest in how he will transform himself for the character.
Final Table premieres on October 24 at 10:40 PM. KST, while Ahn’s interview on Newsroom is scheduled to air on October 25th.
