SBS has set a November 20th premiere for Good Partner 2, starring Jang Na Ra and Kim Hye Yoon, and unveiled a teaser poster featuring Jang’s returning character, divorce attorney Cha Eun Kyung.
Returning two years after its first season, the legal drama follows Cha as she teams up with Kang Hye Sung (Kim Hye Yoon), an experienced attorney, to handle divorce cases while developing a new professional partnership.
Season 2 marks a fresh start for Cha, who has left her former firm to establish her own divorce law practice. Now the firm’s managing partner, she must navigate new cases alongside Kang, whose personal commitment to divorce clients contrasts with Cha’s efficiency-driven approach.
The teaser poster shows Cha smiling confidently beside an empty seat reserved for her new colleague. The tagline reads, “Looking for a partner to join my second divorce show.”
The first season, which aired in 2024, centered on the contrasting personalities and values of veteran attorney Cha and rookie lawyer Han Yu Ri (Nam Ji Hyun), exploring their evolving partnership alongside realistic divorce cases. Season 2 shifts its focus beyond divorce proceedings to the lives and decisions clients face after their marriages end.
“The second season goes a step beyond divorce cases to focus on the lives and choices that continue after divorce,” the production team said. “Viewers can look forward to Cha Eun Kyung’s satisfying return as she experiences a second phase of growth alongside new partners.”
Choi Yu Na, a practicing divorce attorney who wrote the first season, returns as screenwriter, while Seo Min Jung takes over directing duties. Jang, who won the Grand Prize at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards for her performance in the original series, will lead the new season opposite Kim Hye Yoon.
Good Partner 2 premieres November 20th at 9:50 PM KST on SBS and will air Fridays and Saturdays.
