Park Shin Hye is sharing her heartfelt thoughts after wrapping up her latest drama.

Following the finale of the tvN weekend series Undercover Miss Hong, the actress expressed gratitude for the unexpected wave of love the show received.

“I honestly didn’t expect it to receive this much love,” Park Shin Hye said. “I was incredibly happy.”

She added that working alongside the cast was one of the most meaningful parts of the experience. “The greatest joy was being able to work with such wonderful actors,” she said. “It makes me even happier that the drama ended with everyone receiving so much love.”

In the series, Park Shin Hye played the lead role of Hong Geum Bo, also appearing under the undercover identity Hong Jang Mi. She explained that she worked to balance the two sides of the character—Hong Geum Bo’s sharp professionalism and Hong Jang Mi’s youthful confidence.

When asked about the line she remembers most, Park Shin Hye pointed to the moment that begins Hong Geum Bo’s undercover mission: “Hello, I’m Hong Jang Mi. I’m 20 years old.” She explained the line stayed with her because it marked the beginning of both the character’s transformation and the story itself.

Park Shin Hye also thanked viewers who supported the drama until the end. “I was truly happy thanks to all the love you gave us,” she said. “I will continue working hard to show you good projects and better performances.”

With Undercover Miss Hong, Park Shin Hye once again showed her range, following recent roles in Doctor Slump and The Judge from Hell. In this drama, she moved between comedy, romance and action while bringing depth to her character.

The series finale recorded strong ratings, averaging 12.4% nationwide and peaking at 13.9%, while reaching 13.0% in the Seoul metropolitan area with a peak of 14.6%. The show also ranked No. 1 among the key 20–49 demographic across all channels, including major broadcast networks.
