Lee Joo Been chose Ahn Bo Hyun as her ultimate ideal type in a playful “Ideal Type World Cup” segment.
The episode featuring Lee aired on November 10th on KBS Entertainment’s official YouTube channel as part of Ko So Young’s talk show. During the show, Lee Joo Been took part in a lighthearted bracket game where she compared male stars head-to-head to find her ideal match.
In the first round, Ma Dong Seok went up against Yoo Ji Tae. Ko So Young commented, “In person, Ma Dong Seok gives off a surprisingly sweet, teddy-bear vibe—very warm and kind,” to which Lee Joo Been enthusiastically agreed, saying, “That’s so true.” She described Yoo Ji Tae as “refined and calm, with the aura of a scholar,” but ultimately chose Ma Dong Seok.
In the next bracket, Park Hyung Sik faced Ahn Bo Hyun. “I first met Park Hyung Sik while filming ‘Twelve,’ and honestly, he glows in real life. He’s tall, well-proportioned, and such a kind, thoughtful person,” Lee said. “But Ahn Bo Hyun is just as impressive, so this is a tough one.” After some thought, she picked Ahn Bo Hyun.
Another matchup pitted Lee Dong Wook against Kim Ji Hoon, and Lee Joo Been chose Lee Dong Wook, explaining that they had recently worked together. The final quarterfinal round saw Kwak Dong Yeon versus Seo In Guk—Lee noted that “both are talented and witty,” but she ultimately went with Kwak Dong Yeon.
In the semifinals, Ma Dong Seok faced Ahn Bo Hyun, and when asked who drew her more, Lee picked Ahn Bo Hyun once again. The second semifinal between Lee Dong Wook and Kwak Dong Yeon ended with Lee choosing Lee Dong Wook.
Finally, in the championship round between Lee Dong Wook and Ahn Bo Hyun, Lee Joo Been crowned Ahn Bo Hyun as her ultimate ideal type. She explained, “He’s someone I can learn a lot from. He really takes care of himself and has a grounded attitude. We both lived pretty ordinary lives in our twenties, so it’s easy to connect and have good conversations.”
