Love Next Door actor Yoon Ji On has officially parted ways with his management agency following a drunk driving incident that forced him to exit a new drama mid-production.

Industry sources confirmed September 17th that Yun’s exclusive contract with IEUM# expired on July 6th. While the actor is currently seeking new representation, his former agency is reportedly assisting with projects he had already committed to before the scandal.

The fallout comes after Yoon was cited for drunk driving earlier this month. According to reports, he has stepped down from Channel A’s upcoming drama Positively Yours (literal title), with producers now in the process of recasting his role. All of Yoon’s filmed scenes will be reshot. The series began production in July and is currently six scripts into its run, with filming originally scheduled through December. Yoon had continued shooting up until last week.

Following news of his exit, Yoon issued an apology via Instagram, writing: “On the 16th, I made the mistake of illegally operating a motorcycle while intoxicated. I admit all responsibility and sincerely apologize to those who supported me for this disappointment I’ve caused.”

Positively Yours is now revising schedules for its existing cast to accommodate the reshoots necessitated by Yoon’s departure.
