BTS’ J-Hope has playfully exposed Lee Jung Jae‘s declining vision.
On the March 2nd broadcast of JTBC’s variety show Please Take Care of My Refrigerator 2, J-Hope and actor Heo Sung Tae appeared as guests.
Previously, J-Hope performed at the “Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes” held at París La Défense Arena in Paris, France, at the invitation of Brigitte Macron, wife of French President Emmanuel Macron. A photo of G-Dragon, Lee Jung Jae, and J-Hope together posted on G-Dragon’s social media created quite a buzz.
When this meeting was brought up during the episode, J-Hope revealed Lee Jung Jae’s age-related vision issues, saying, “What was really new to me was that the text on Jung Jae’s camera was really big. It wasn’t the font size I’m used to.” He continued by sharing Lee’s cool reaction, “When I mentioned this to him, he laughed and appreciated it, saying ‘My eyesight is going.'”
Kim Sung Joo responded, “I can relate. He and I were both born in 1972. Me, Choi Hyun Seok, Kyun (Edward Lee), and Lee Jung Jae are all the same age. We have no choice but to see like this.” He then caught attention by sending a subtle invitation through J-Hope, saying, “If you meet or talk with Lee Jung Jae again, please tell him that Choi Hyun Seok wants to cook something delicious for him if he comes on the show.”
