JTBC’s Welcome to Samdalri concluded with an impressive 12.4 percent viewership rating.

In the final episode, Sam Dal (played by Shin Hye Sun)’s exhibition is successfully organized with the help of Yong Pil (Ji Chang Wook) and everyone in the village. Meanwhile, Kyung Tae (Lee Jae Won), Eun Woo (Bae Myung Jin), Sang Do (Kang Young Seok) and Sam Dal’s assistants Eun Bi (Kim A Young) and Ji Eun (Lee Do Hye) go to see Chung Gi (Han Eun Seong) and uncover the truth about Bang Eun Joo (Jo Yoon Seo). This revelation finally clears Sam Dal of the school bullying controversy.

Guided by Sam Dal’s support, Yong Pil successfully returns two years after achieving his dream of working at the World Meteorological Organization in Switzerland. However, he still faces challenges as an ’asshole’ forecaster by getting kicked out of meetings at its Seoul headquarter. In addition, he continues his romantic relationship with Sam Dal.

Their five best friends also realize their long-wished dreams: Kyung Tae romantically connects with Eun Bi, Sang Do opens a restaurant in Seoul, and Eun Woo becomes a webtoonist. Sam Dal’s older sister, Jin Dal (Shin Dong Mi), finally returns to her previous work at an airline company, while once-promising swimmer Hae Dal (Kang Mi Na) pursues a career as a diver.

Welcome to Samdalri delivers a meaningful message about discovering one’s own value and purpose in life by cherishing the people they love and who make them feel at home.
