Park Bo Gum and Kim So Hyun will team up for a new JTBC drama titled Good Boy.
Good Boy is a comedy-action series that follows former Olympic medalists restoring justice after they start their new lives as police officers. The new show is directed by Shim Na Yeon of The Good Bad Mother and Beyond Evil, and penned by Lee Dae Il of Life on Mars.
Park Bo Gum plays Yoon Dong Joo, a former professional boxer who becomes a special forces police officer through special recruitment. Once an Olympic hero, a tragic event leads him to start a new life as a cop where he rediscovers his fighter spirit while confronting unbearable injustice.
Kim So Hyun stars as Ji Han Na, an Olympic shooting gold medalist who has gained immense popularity not only for her outstanding talent but also for her exceptional looks. However, she quits shooting due to an event that shocks the world and embarks on the path of a police officer. While she may appear calm and quiet, she becomes surprisingly bold when it comes to love and work.
