Hold onto your seats, K-pop fans! Jennie is making a dazzling entrance into the K-variety show.

According to insiders, BLACKPINK’s Jennie will be joining tvN’s new variety show Apartment 404 (working title). This highly anticipated program pairs Jenny with Director Jung Cheol Min, the mastermind behind Village Survival, the Eight, another show the duo collaborated on. Set against the backdrop of an apartment complex, Apartment 404 promises to bring refreshing entertainment, bearing the signature style of Jung Cheol Min, a veteran at crafting “mission” shows.

Not only is Jung Cheol Min credited with revitalizing Running Man, but he has also garnered audience approval with his successful Sixth Sense series after his move to CJ ENM. The buzz is that fans will get a taste of a whole new Jennie—a side of her not previously showcased solely through BLACKPINK’s activities.

Word is that Yoo Jae Suk, who worked with Jennie on Village Survival, the Eight, will also make an appearance. Fans are abuzz about the comedic chemistry between these two stars, reuniting for the first time in nearly five years.

Jennie has continually made her mark, not just as a member of global sensation BLACKPINK but also in her solo endeavors. Coming up on the 6th, her solo stage act “You & Me” from the BLACKPINK world tour is set to drop officially. The other BLACKPINK members are no slackers, either. Lisa recently performed at a famed adult show Crazy Horse in Paris, while Jisoo and Rosé are also busy with their individual promotions.

As for Apartment 404, the casting net for guests is still out. The show will air on tvN in the first half of next year.
