2PM’s Junho is making waves in Japan, announcing his comeback as a singer with a new solo single.
According to OSEN reports on the 7th, Junho is scheduled to release his single CAN I in Japan on August 23rd. The charismatic performer is said to have penned the lyrics himself. He’ll also be kicking off a personal concert tour in Japan this month.
Junho, who’s enjoyed his popularity in Japan since his days with 2PM, has released albums and conducted solo tours in the country each summer from 2013 to 2018.
In tandem with his musical endeavors, Junho’s acting career is on fire with his starring role in King the Land, currently a chart-topper on Netflix Japan. The drama’s immense popularity suggests that his upcoming music release will be met with heightened interest.
The acclaimed King the Land recently hit a new high, according to Netflix’s official TOP10 website. The show racked up a whopping 24.5 million viewing hours, nabbing the top spot in Netflix’s global TOP10 TV Non-English section.
