Doctor Cha actor Min Woo Hyuk reflected on his life from a baseball player to a musical star.
On the May 5th episode of KBS’s AM Plaza, Min Woo Hyuk appeared as a guest to talk about the topic “I Want to Go Back to My Childhood.”
Saying that he wishes to go back to his Coming of Age Day, Min Woo Hyuk added, “I played baseball for about 10 years when I was young. I don’t necessarily want to go back to that time because it was so difficult, but I think it laid the foundation for me, so it was necessary.”
Min Woo Hyuk revealed, “I did become a professional baseball player, but I had to quit due to an injury.”
He continued, “In 2003, I debuted as a singer. I experienced many ups and downs during my 10-year singing career. Around then, people suggested I become a musical actor. However, I thought that if I were to be a musical actor, I would have to do classical music, and it seemed like a high barrier to overcome. So, I hesitated to take up the challenge. Now that I’m meeting many audiences as a musical actor, I feel a great sense of pride in my profession. If I could go back to my early 20s, I would want to become a musical actor sooner.”
