Child actress Oh Ji Yul shared some behind-the-scenes stories about The Glory in a video interview with Elle Korea magazine.

When asked about her favorite and least favorite types of acting scenes, she replied, “I’m most confident when I play a bright or sassy characters. On the other hand, crying scenes are the toughest for me. I cry a lot at home, but when the camera rolls, tears won’t come out.”

When asked if screenwriter Kim Eun Suk gave her any special directions, she responded, “I remember her compliments. She said I was really good at acting. I’m thankful for her remarks.”

The child star also seriously thought about who she likes more between her father Ha Do Young (played by Jung Sung Il) and uncle Jun Jae Joon (Park Sung Hoon) in the show. She stated, “I had fun when my dad spun me around, and he was super nice to me on set. Meanwhile, uncle Jae Joon’s acting was so realistic. He was also really kind to me.”

Then she was asked if there were any other roles she wanted to play beside Ye Sol in the drama. She remarked, “Not really. I don’t know the plot very well, but I do know it was about revenge. Teacher Moon Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo) was pretty scary in the drama. It would be frightening to take on a role like hers. I don’t think I can play a character who harms others.” The celebrity also revealed that “every moment” she filmed in the series was memorable.
