Remember, starring Lee Sung Min and Nam Joo Hyuk, was pre-sold in 115 counties even before its release.

Remember follows an elderly man with dementia who seeks revenge against pro-Japanese collaborators (people who collaborated with Japan during its occupation of Korea) he’s planned for 60 years and a young man who unintentionally gets involved in his revenge. Today, ACEMAKER MOVIEWORKS announced that this action flick will be screened in 115 countries, including North America, France, Russia, India, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Singapore.

815 Pictures, the company that distributed The Roundup and King Maker in North America, lavished praise on Remember. “We believe that an action movie that has melted Korean history into the story has come out. Although (the lead character) is an old man, even the North American audience will relate to his desire to finish his revenge.” Moviecloud, in charge of Taiwan distribution, commented, “We’re very excited to be able to watch Remember (in Taiwan). It’s a movie with smarter and more entertaining elements in every way.”

Additionally, it was announced that Remember was officially invited to the “Spotlight On Korea” section of the Hawaii International Film Festival. The film will be screened twice, including the International premiere on November 5th.

Meanwhile, Remember will hit the screen on October 26th.
