Stray Kids Became the First JYP Artist to Be Entitled Million-Seller

More than 1.1 million copies of Stray Kids’ 2nd full album NOEASY were sold.

Stray Kids’ NOEASY, released on the 23rd, has exceeded 1.1 million copies in cumulative album sales. In particular, NOEASY became the first album produced under JYP Entertainment to achieve the million-seller title.

Previously, NOEASY recorded 930,000 pre-orders by the day of its release, signaling a green light for the act’s triumphant comeback. In the first week, Stray Kids sold 641,589 copies of the album, according to Hanteo Chart. On top of that, NOEASY took the top spot of Hanteo Chart’s Weekly Album Chart and Gaon Chart’s Weekly Retail Album Chart.

Stray Kids has received enthusiastic responses for their new smash and the title track “THUNDEROUS.” “THUNDEROUS” ranked 1st on iTunes Top Song Chart in 52 countries, including Australia, Germany, and Singapore. The song also debuted on Spotify’s Global Top 200 Chart at No. 104 and rose up to No. 86 in just one day.

In addition, “THUNDEROUS” MV surpassed 50 million views on YouTube in just 6 days of its release. It’s expected to be the act’s 5th billion-viewed MV following “God’s Menu,” “MIROH,” “Back Door,” and “My Pace.”

“THUNDEROUS” is a song written by 3RACHA, Stray Kids’ producing team (Bang Chan, Changbin, Han). The song includes the magnificent Korean traditional sound, and it contains the message of pushing forward with what you believe without caring about what others say.
