Choi Min Sik Joins Director Jang Jae Hyun’s New Occult Film

Choi Min Sik and �director Jang Jae Hyun have joined hands.

According to Starnews, Choi recently joined the production of Pamyo (literal title) and is coordinating the details.

Pamyo (meaning moving the tomb) is the new occult thriller movie by The Priests and Svaha: The Sixth Finger director Jang. It revolves around a man who was given a large sum of money to move the tomb and a shaman who follows him. Choi will take the role of the man who can read the good or toxic energy from the gravesites.

This year alone, Choi will be shooting The Owl (literal title) with Ryu Jun Yeol, and then he will work on Pamyo. The Owl is a historical film about Crown Prince Sohyeon’s death. In the movie, Choi plays King Injo of Joseon, who returned from the Qing Dynasty. Then, he will star in the modern film, Pamyo. The veteran actor will fill the screen with his strong presence by joining the two works set in a different era.

Meanwhile, Pamyo will start filming in the fall once they find the actress to play the shaman role.
