Kim Ah Joong will be the heroine of writer Lee Soo Yeon’s new project Zero (literal title).
According to industry insiders, Kim Ah Joong officially joined the new SF thriller series Zero, written by Stranger screenwriter Lee Soo Yeon. Previously, Chun Woo Hee was in talks to take the female lead, but the plan fell through due to scheduling conflicts.
With this, Kim Ah Joong confirmed her return to the small screen four years after her 2017 series Live Up to Your Name.
Though not much information was unveiled, Zero will be a project that combines science fiction with a thriller.
Seo Kang Joon joined the team as the male lead, and Kim Mu Yeol and Lee Si Young are also in the cast lineup. The Divine Move 2: The Wrathful director Khan Lee will helm the production.
Ace Factory, producer of Stranger, will produce the series. Earlier, the project made headlines when it confirmed its release on Disney Plus, preparing for its entry into the Korean market.
