Oh Ji Yul, the young actress who stole hearts as Ha Ye Sol in the hit Netflix series The Glory, is turning heads with her stunning transformation.
A new comedy sketch was uploaded to a popular channel named BDNS on July 12th. In the video, acclaimed actress Cho Yeo Jeong expresses her wish to bond with her on-screen 13-year-old niece. To help her out, actor Jung Sung Il and comedian Moon Sang Hoon set off to track down the niece in question.
That niece turned out to be none other than Oh Ji Yul. Fans fell in love with her as the adorable daughter of Ha Do Young (played by Jung Sung Il) and Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon) in the 2022 global sensation The Glory. But viewers were shocked to see just how much she’s grown. Now a sixth-grader, the former child star trades her cute toddler image for a noticeably mature and stylish look. She has steadily built her resume with appearances in high-profile series like The WONDERfools and Death’s Game since her breakout role.
Reuniting with his former on-screen daughter, Jung Sung Il asked, “Is there anything special you’d like to do with Auntie Yeo Jeong?”
Oh Ji Yul replied with hilarious, deadpan honesty: “Not really. Besides, I have to prep for middle school next year, so I don’t really have time to hang out.”

Oh Ji Yul and Cho Yeo Jeong are set to star together in the upcoming Coupang Play original dark comedy series, The Affair Was Just the Beginning. The show follows a famous influencer couple known for faking a picture-perfect family and their neighbors—a doctor couple in the middle of a messy divorce. Things spiral out of control when both households get wrapped up in a scandal so chaotic that a simple affair is the least of their worries.
The series premieres on July 31st.
