The world-famous K-Pop group recently excited the fans in YouTube with BLACKPINK’s Jennie starting her own YouTube channel titled ‘Jennierubyjane Official’. Jennie’s first YouTube video, ‘Hello world . From Jennie’, gained more than 23 million views as of January 27th. The YouTube channel itself hit more than 1.8 million followers within 11 hours of its launch and as of January 27th has more than 4.87 million followers and counting. With her tremendous popularity, Jennie will be receiving both the silver and gold play buttons as a brand new YouTuber.

Coming in at #2 is WINNER. WINNER’s KANG SEUNG YOON announced that he will be releasing his official solo album for the first time in eight years. WINNER’s talent management and agency firm, YG Entertainment, stated that “KANG SEUNG YOON’s newest album will be released on the upcoming March with the music video yet to be filmed.” KANG SEUNG YOON not only wrote but also produced the entire tracks in this album, exciting the fans who have waited for so long on his new releases.
LOONA, ranked at #4, broke into the Top 40 pop radio airplay chart with their song, ‘Star’, the track of LOONA’s third mini-album ‘[12:00]’. LOONA’s ‘Star’ placed at 39th in the US radio chart, making LOONA the second K-Pop female artist group to reach this milestone behind BLACKPINK. Furthermore, LOONA’s ‘Star’ became the most requested song in iHeartRadio’s ‘Most Requested Live’. By releasing an English version of ‘Star’, LOONA announced their intent to grow their fanbase within the United States.
At #8 is SECRET NUMBER who has been selected as one of Spotify’s ‘2020 Top 5 Most Streamed RADAR Korea Artist’. SECRET NUMBER thanked their fans, saying that they would not have been able to achieve any of these without the support of their fans all over the globe. Spotify’s ‘RADAR Artist’ is a program created to shed light on the up and coming global artists who are selected based on their streaming numbers.
