NewJeans member Haerin is set to make her first official public appearance since returning to ADOR.
Haerin will attend a photo call for a luxury beauty brand on September 7th at Lotte Department Store’s Jamsil branch in Seoul.
Other celebrities expected to attend include former figure skater Kim Yuna, actors Nam Joo Hyuk, Shin Ye Eun and Kim Jae Won, Red Velvet’s Joy, model Irene, and Bae Yoon Young.
The event is drawing attention because it will be Haerin’s first time facing the press since returning to ADOR. Haerin is an ambassador for the brand, which recently released new promotional photos featuring her.
Her appearance could also mark the beginning of her return to regular activities. Fans are now watching to see whether Haerin’s individual promotions could lead to a larger return for NewJeans.
NewJeans announced the termination of their exclusive contracts with ADOR in November 2024. However, after a court granted ADOR’s request for an injunction, Haerin and Hyein returned to the agency later that month, followed by Hanni in December.
Danielle is currently involved in a legal dispute with ADOR over her contract, while Minji is still discussing a possible return to the agency.
Last month, Minji, Hanni, Haerin and Hyein appeared together in a special film celebrating NewJeans’ fourth anniversary. The film sparked speculation that the group could eventually return as a four-member group.
